Sunday at Waters
- Stu did a great job with the talk on protecting your thoughts. I thought it was very thought provoking and applicable. I pray that everyone that heard the talk thinks about what was said… Our actions and behaviors are a direct result to our beliefs. If you change your beliefs you will change your behaviors. - Worship was excellent as always! Set list – Everybody Praise the Lord by Lincoln Brewster, Everlasting God (Lincoln Brewster’s version), God is with us (the North Point Live CD), and How Great is Our God by Chris Tomlin.
- I did the welcome and to set up the talk on protecting your thoughts. I introduced a video that played off the phrase protect your house. Often times in sports players will chant we must protect this house. Jamey Menser came up with what I thought was a funny idea. The video received a dicey response from 3 out of the 4 services. They all laughed, but it seemed to me that people thought we may have gone a little too far. Here’s the video to view for yourself.
No children were seriously injured in the filming of this video.
Robshep.com, that video was freakin hilarious, and I loved it! Somebody has to teach those kids that basketball ain’t no joke and that if they don’t ask politely they gon’ get some gravy wit they stuffin
