I received an email recently from a friend of mine asking me how to forgive someone. He wanted to know how to truly forgive and love someone that hurt you. I think that is a great question! I don’t believe in simple answers for complex problems. I have some ideas based on what has worked for me. I will post those at another time. For now, I will say that to truly forgive is a divine thing. That is a great quote from Michelangelo. Divine means “godlike; characteristic of or befitting a deity.” When we forgive we are truly being divine. God forgives us! Even when we don’t deserve it, God forgives us. To forgive someone is to model what God does for each of us. To be continued…
