How many blogs do you read? I read a good handful. Recently I’ve discovered some new ones that I’ve really enjoyed. For example…
Mandie Marie – Mandie is funny, a great writer, and she’s from Canada. What’s not to love about that?
Joseph Craven – Joseph’s blog title is “The Greatest Blog Of All Time.” Nuff said.
Brynn – I’m not sure of her last name. I think she doesn’t share it because she’s like the Prince and Madonna of the blogging world. She leaves really funny comments on my blog and she is a ninja at the yo-yo.
Tor Constantino – Tor is a great writer. He’s funny and insightful. He’s got 20 + years of writing experience so I think that makes him a pro.
Michael Perkins – Michael is a ninja at short posts with great content. He says more in less than 100 words than I can say in 500. He’s good!
Cindy Holman – Cindy is one of the nicest people in the entire world wide web.
If you like reading blogs then make sure you check out the ones I linked.
What is your favorite blog to read? What’s the last blog that you discovered?

My favorite blog to read is robshep.com, for obvious reasons. It is one of my favorite things to do each day. I haven’t discovered any new blogs lately, unless you count crockpotgirls.com!
I visit a small handful of blogs each day. I like checking out robshep.com and waystationone.com. Recently I discovered rickyanderson.net. It’s funny that sometimes other people’s blogs can seem just like another web page until you form a personal connection.
I see what happened. I went to waystationone.com and you went to http://www.waystationone.com. The www. makes all the difference. He should setup his .htaccess file to accommodate that.
Who is this joker. I’ve seen his name in the comment section of some other blogs. The way you two swoon over him I’m starting to think I’m missing out.
Crazy enough, I have only recently started reading Tyler Tarver’s blog. I think I was the lone holdout (for no apparent reason). I also got started on Knox McCoy about a month ago. I guess that I “discovered” Knox’s guest Kristen Kitti http://lightinhereyes.wordpress.com this morning, only from the standpoint that I liked that post and added her to my reader.
I’m not sure I have a favorite out of the ones I read though… I mean, that would be like picking a favorite kid who’s obsessed with Google Analytics and word counts.
Seriously, though, I’m legally and morally obligated to mention robshep.com (which is, you know, this blog you’re reading right now) and Ricky Anderson because I fooled them into publishing my guest posts. Ha! Joke’s on you, guys.
Also: I’m disappointed in the lack of self-promotion going on in these comments. Don’t you all know this is the internet? If you’re not promoting yourself on the internet, you’re not alive!*

Thank you, Russ. You’ve helped strengthen my foundering confidence in the inherent self-centeredness of the internet. For that you have my momentary gratitude.
Have you noticed how I’ve left THREE comments now in order to leave THREE links to my blog? I’M SO SNEAKY. (No, that’s not actually why I’ve left three comments. I’m not THAT annoying.)
I actually have a very long list of blogs I subscribe to and read every day or at least weekly. They range from style/design to cooking to catching up with my friends and getting challenged spiritually like robshep.com
A couple that I like lately are:
Confessions of a Pioneer Woman -http://thepioneerwoman.com/
She blogs about cooking, funny life experiences, living on a farm and now she has a show on Food Network. Really fun blog!
Parenting. Illustrated with Crappy Pictures. – http://crappypictures.typepad.com/crappy-pictures/
This one is hilarious because it gives parenting experience and advice but the writer adds computer drawn pictures with each story which are…crappy…fun stuff
Southern Daisy – http://southerndaisy.com/
My sister (and several other women I know) have started subscribing to Southern Daisy because she is not afraid to try new recipes and she also does a lot of fun sewing projects. She photographs every step too. I like that because I’m a very visual person.
Hope you enjoyed some of my new blog interests. Thanks for sharing yours Rob! Always love a new blog idea!
I am finding a lot of good blobs. I like Jeff Goins for making my blog better. I’ve been enjoying Rob’s. And despite my better judgement, The Seeking Pastor. This doesn’t do all of the other good ones justice.
I tend to like leadership blogs, creative blogs, and more recently, photography blogs. Steven Furtick’s blog is one I look forward to each day. Your site is one of the latest that I’ve found and still read. =)
Another new blog I’m enjoying is Dear18Me (http://www.dear18me.com/), where people write a letter to themselves when they were 18. It’s interesting to read the letters. They also post a picture of that person at 18, which is also entertaining.
My favorite blog to read is robshep.com, for obvious reasons. It is one of my favorite things to do each day. I haven’t discovered any new blogs lately, unless you count crockpotgirls.com!
Just so you both know, after the crock pot and microwave post, I left work early and suprised my wife with a brand new Crock Pot!!..lol
That’s GREAT!
Latest discovery…
I’ve followed him for a while but I really enjoy
http://davidsantistevan.com
Very cool. I hadn’t heard of his blog before. Thanks!
I visit a small handful of blogs each day. I like checking out robshep.com and waystationone.com. Recently I discovered rickyanderson.net. It’s funny that sometimes other people’s blogs can seem just like another web page until you form a personal connection.
Thanks, Daniel. I really appreciate that.
I went to waystationone and it was just a bunch of ads. Is that really the right URL?
Some Guy, I don’t know what’s up with that. I went to it and it worked. I typed in http://www.waystationone.com/ and it worked. Maybe try again?
I see what happened. I went to waystationone.com and you went to http://www.waystationone.com. The www. makes all the difference. He should setup his .htaccess file to accommodate that.
True! That is one reason why I love Twitter. It’s allowed me to get to know some of the bloggers and make that personal connection.
My friend Larry has a blog that is hitting a good stride: http://deuceology.wordpress.com
Matt, Larry is the man! Great stuff over at his blog.
Well, yours is climing the charts! LOL…
I like moe’s blog a lot too…
I read about 50 blogs at most…i mean…really read..not scan…i scan about 100…lol…
Arny, thank you for really reading robshep.com. I hope that doesn’t come off as sarcastic because I genuinely love having you a part of this site.
ROBSHEP.com is it for me. Well with occasional visit to Steven Furtick’s blog at Elevation.
Joseph, I love that you read and comment on this blog! It’s been great getting to know via the world wide web.
My favorite blog is probably by Jeff Goins. As a blogger and aspiring writer his insight, encouragement and candid challenges are inspiring.
I most recently discovered your blog. Too bad the sheep apocalypse is coming soon.
ThatGuyKC, you’ve mentioned his blog before. He’s solid!
Thanks, dudes.
Love Jeff Goins! It’s like he pulls from a never-ending well of blogging/writing knowledge.
I’m actually just stealing from one of Hemingway’s old notebooks.
Jeff Goins = solid.
Better than being a liquid or gas, I suppose. (Thanks, dude.)
Stanton Martin – http://www.stantonmartin.com
BOOOOOOOOOO
BOOOOOO RICKY ANDERSON. BOOOOOO
Boo because I plugged Stanton Martin, the funniest guy with two last names on the Internet?
Or
Boo because I didn’t put you? You’re clearly plugged in the post, so I didn’t think you needed two plugs.
Call down, Amanda Bast.
Oh, wait…you’re The Joseph Craven.
Never mind, you can get as upset as you want.
Thanks for that.
But yeah, I was booing because you plugged Stanton Martin, since:
A) I hate him.
B) Plugging him is MY job.
Who is this joker. I’ve seen his name in the comment section of some other blogs. The way you two swoon over him I’m starting to think I’m missing out.
Thanks for pointing the way to new blogs. I’m always up for new reads.
–@terracecrawford
Terrace, my pleasure! Thanks for the comment.

Russ, That last line was great!
I read only one blog.
…at a time. Wait, what did you think I meant?!
Seriously, though, I’m legally and morally obligated to mention robshep.com (which is, you know, this blog you’re reading right now) and Ricky Anderson because I fooled them into publishing my guest posts. Ha! Joke’s on you, guys.

There’s a lot of love on here (deservedly so) for Ricky Anderson (who is coincidentally guest posting on my blog today).
There… I have self-promoted. Twice today, in fact. I feel like I need a shower now.
Thank you, Russ. You’ve helped strengthen my foundering confidence in the inherent self-centeredness of the internet. For that you have my momentary gratitude.

Burrill, new rule. You have to leave comments on my blog every day. My blog doesn’t feel complete without one of your witty comments.
My Favorite is Tyler Tarver, with Knox Mccoy recently moving up to a close 2nd and passing Tyler Stanton.
Recently I have really gotten into http://thegoodgreatsby.com/ He is a great writer and humorous.
Oh man, I forgot the Good Greatsby. Paul is incredible.
Everyone – add that to your feed reader immediately.
Joe, thanks! I checked out his site today because of this. Ha-larious.

Jon Acuff’s Blog and Stuff Christians Like – http://www.jonacuff.com/blog/ and http://www.jonacuff.com/stuffchristianslike/
Rob has discussed these on his blog but I really like them a lot. God wants us to have a sense of humor and Jon gets it.
Southern Daisy – http://southerndaisy.com/
My sister (and several other women I know) have started subscribing to Southern Daisy because she is not afraid to try new recipes and she also does a lot of fun sewing projects. She photographs every step too. I like that because I’m a very visual person.

I used to read Joseph Craven’s stuff, but he’s stupid and smells funny so I stopped.
Also he killed my dog.
P.S. You’re the best, Rob Shep. THE best.
Joseph, ah thanks. And thanks for changing your Gravitar.
Wow. I’m incredibly honored and humbled to be mentioned with these other GREAT bloggers! Thanks Rob – you truly bless me.
Cindy, my pleasure!
My favorite blog is robshep.com.
I’m also like Bono.
Thanks for the shout-out 🙂
Also, http://meetthebuttrams.wordpress.com/ is pretty great. Jess is a math nerd like me.
Brynn, how could I forget Bono? Love that guy.
Brynn, I like Jess’ blog a lot. She’s good people.
I am finding a lot of good blobs. I like Jeff Goins for making my blog better. I’ve been enjoying Rob’s. And despite my better judgement, The Seeking Pastor. This doesn’t do all of the other good ones justice.
Larry, I’m thankful you’ve found my blog. This Jeff guy is making some noise. I’m going to have to check him out some more.
Rob, I appreciate the community you’ve built on your blog here. Great camaraderie — I love when bloggers are able to do that. Well done!
Thanks Jeff. I appreciate you stopping by and leaving some comments. Comment leaving is my love language.

TJ, I love Furtick’s blog. That guy has such great insight.
Recently been reading John Acuff’s blog quite a bit. Discovered your blog from one of his tweets, great writing.
Michael, there is only one Michael Tait that I know. I’m thinking this name is not your real name.
you never know…
